What does Zaoul mean?
Zaoul (ⵣaoul) is rooted in the Amazigh — the indigenous people of North Africa. The opening symbol, ⵣ, is pronounced yaz and means the free man in the Tifinagh alphabet. The brand carries forward that legacy of independence and identity.
Where is Zaoul made?
Designed in Morocco, hand-finished by partners who specialize in premium cotton and embroidery. Shipped from Houston, Texas worldwide.
What does the back motif represent?
The geometric pattern down the spine is an ancestral Berber motif — drawn from carvings, woven rugs, and silver jewelry that have been part of Amazigh culture for centuries. Each line carries meaning.

What is the fit like?

What is the cotton weight?
220 GSM canvas cotton. Heavyweight, structured, and built to last. This is significantly heavier than the 140–160 GSM tees most brands use.
Is the embroidery real?
Yes. Every Zaoul symbol and motif is real thread embroidery in deep black — not heat press, not screen print. It will not crack, peel, or fade.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship within 1–2 business days from Houston, Texas. Domestic US delivery takes 3–5 business days. International delivery takes 7–14 business days depending on location.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Zaoul ships worldwide. Customs and import duties are the buyer's responsibility.
How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Unworn, unwashed items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition with all tags attached. Customer is responsible for return shipping.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes — email ceo@zaoul.com within 14 days with your order number and the size you'd like to swap to. We'll send you instructions.
